About
The man behind the mission

Terry Colley
My name is Terry Colley. A bi-lateral amputee, competitive kayak angler, hunter, and adaptive outdoorsman based in Tennessee. The Outdoor Amputee was built to show that limitations don't define what's possible. After transitioning from bass boats to kayak fishing full-time, I had to relearn balance, safety, and efficiency on the water—adapting both equipment and mindset.
I don't create content for sympathy. I create it to show what's possible.
Through hunting, fishing, and adaptive education, my mission is simple: help others step outside their comfort zone and realize they're capable of more.
The Outdoor Amputee exists to challenge limitations, redefine what's possible in the outdoors, and prove that adaptation—not circumstances—determines your ceiling.
